PROMISES AND LIES… CONGRESS 100-DAY-PROGRAM (6th Sept 2009)

PROMISES AND LIES… CONGRESS 100-DAY-PROGRAM (6th Sept 2009)

They will do anything to be in power… BEG, BORROW and STEAL are the three virtues of all political leaders. Delhi’s Chief Minister Sheila Dixit was selling dals at a Mother Dairy Shop in Delhi yesterday… and guess what, she was handling the counter for all the publicity gimmick, which was duly covered by electronic media… otherwise how will people know what she has done… imagine a Chief Minister of a State has to sell dals to common man, just to be in power and create an image… truly a SHAME and PITY… Why the government has failed to curb the price rise??? For how long will Mother Dairy Shops sell these dals?

Toor dal was being sold at Rs.75/- a kilo (in market it is Rs.110/- a kilo)… is this what common man was expecting from the Congress led UPA government… can a common man or poor people eat dal any more??? There was a famous song… ‘Dal roti khao prabhu ke gunn gao…’ – well no longer in Congress regime… the nation is burning (Ghaziabad/ Lucknow/ Bhopal/ Ranchi), farmers are fighting drought and floods without any assistance from the government…

Only statements are being aired in various news channels about the achievements, yet, the nation is not getting respite from price rise of essential food grains, terrorism and insurgency in border areas, fake currency racket, corruption and what not… yet the Congress is sitting pretty waiting for Pakistani officials to help them in 26/11 Mumbai attack… well, if only our national leaders have a little common sense to know that it was Pakistani terrorists, who attacked India… so why will they help Indian government???

“Promises and Lies” – Congress led UPA government’s 100-Day-Program was their announcement before the election and by none other than PM Manmohan Singh, so why is Congress trying to cover up their promises by lies – by telling how can a nation expect results in mere 100-days of ruling??? In every debate on national channels, Congress spokesperson is trying to cover their failure to check price rise of essential food grains, check the continuous in-flow of fake currency from Nepal and Bangladesh, unable to stop the insurgency from Pakistan in border areas and above all corruption (as black marketers have been hoarding sugar, dals, rise and other grains) and internal disturbances in various states…

Wonder, when will the nation’s ruling government check so many problems to make the common man’s life safe, secured and content??? The leaders should stop talking big on television channels and take some serious action to check all these problems because if “Promises and Lies” can bring them to power, the same can also drown the government in oblivion like BJP is facing… Hope Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and top-notch leaders will wake up from their sleep and act fast and bring some respite to the common man and farmers and poor villagers and not worry about the Ambani brothers fighting about gas…
